These events include:
BUSINESS AFTER 5
These after hour events provide an informal opportunity for members to get to know each other and do business over snacks and beverages. Members use this time to make contacts, showcase products, systems, equipment and space.
SMALL BUSINESS WEEK
Taking place around the third week of October, Small Business Week features events designed to support, recognize, and celebrate Lacombe businesses and community contributors through various networking, team building, and business recognition events. Members participate in the kick-off breakfast, training events, a Corporate Challenge and more.
Capping Small Business Week is the annual Awards Gala for recognition and celebration of all local businesses and the economic impact they have on our community. This is prestigious fine dining event that gives the business community a chance to network and celebrate.
PASSPORT TO CHRISTMAS
This event is targeted to encourage consumers to shop at local businesses for the holiday season. Participating members carry and promote shopping passports provided by the Chamber in their store fronts for customers to pick up. With each local purchase, customers receive a stamp in their passport. Customers must spend a minimum of $300 at businesses located in Lacombe and Lacombe County to be eligible to enter a draw for one of three cash prizes. Members of the Lacombe Chamber can participate for a fee of $100.
This popular community event has run for decades and brings many local and regional community members together in Lacombe. For a low cost of $60, our members have the opportunity to sponsor lunches during the Farmer's Bonspiel. As a corporate lunch sponsor, the Chamber advertise your business in advance of the Bonspiel as well as during the week leading up to the Bonspiel through signs, placards, posters, our website and our social media marketing platforms. This is a great way to give back while also promoting your brand.
Lacombe Trade Show
Our annual Lacombe Trade Show is Lacombe's BIGGEST trade show event. Lacombe Trade Show provides your business with face to face selling opportunities and exposure to thousands of potential lifetime clients. Separate yourself from the competition. You get to connect with contacts (new and existing), showcase products, services and your space, and we get to provide yet another value to our Members.
LUNCHEONS AND ANNUAL EVENTS
