We'll be testing out a referral program during Small Business Week. If you refer a new member to join (between October 17-22) you could have your 2017 membership paid for, or receive 3 months on our LED sign.

For those new members, they'll also be eligible to receive their 2017 membership paid for, or 3 months on the LED sign.

UPCOMING BOARD TRAINING

Have you ever thought about volunteering on our Board? The Chamber of Commerce operates with a board of a maximum of 15 directors who assist in setting the course for the organization. Their role is to act on behalf of the membership and provide leadership to the Executive Director.

At our Annual General Meeting on November 24th we will be voting in several new Directors for two-year terms as there will be two vacancies.

In advance of the AGM the current BOD will be participating in a training session with staff from the Alberta Chambers of Commerce. This training would be an excellent opportunity for you, if you are interested in potentially letting your name stand for the 2017-2018 term.

You must RSVP for this session, which will take place on Tuesday November 1st from 5pm-8pm.
Please call Monica at 403-782-4300 to get more information or to register.
