Lacombe Chamber co-sponsors policies for debate at annual general meeting of the alberta chambers of commerce

At the April 6th board meeting, the directors approved our participation as co-sponsors for two policies going before the Alberta Chambers of Commerce network at the upcoming annual general meeting. This year’s event will be held virtually May 27th and 28th and will include the policy session where delegates vote to adopt or defeat policies put forward by community chambers.
The policies were written and submitted by the Red Deer & District Chamber of commerce and at their core, both call for a reduction of red tape in two vastly different industries.
Our board is committed to engaging in policy issues that affect our members and the greater business community. In addition to the above policies, we are always open to discuss other concerns that are impeding your business operations.
We encourage local business owners to contact us with any concerns so that we can work together to improve the business climate.
