The “Farm Family/Agricultural Business of the Year” award recognizes a local enterprise that serves the rural areas and the agricultural economy. It could be a family farm, an industry in the ag service sector or an organization that embraces the rural/ agricultural economy that Lacombe and Lacombe County were built on.
Nominees should be involved in their community through volunteerism and philanthropy, pursue new and innovative technology, be committed to doing business and buying locally when possible and have an interest in finding new ways to educate future generations about the agricultural industry.
(Customer Service, Citizen of the Year, Lifetime Achievement, Farm Family) Must not have received an award in the individual categories for the last 5 years.
